GPS Your Future® Goes Live with LA Rams Johnathan Franklin on November 5
High school students are already converging on our EXP Plus app to preview more than 30 virtual career exploration exhibits that will be showcased at EXP's 11th annual GPS Your Future® Career Discovery Event before the entire program goes LIVE online this Friday, November 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Johnathan Franklin, director of social justice and football development, Los Angeles Rams, will be kicking things into high gear for the students on Friday at 10:00 a.m., opening the event with an inspirational keynote address.
After the keynote, students will choose their own career exploration adventures, including small-group video chats where students can get the scoop on exciting career possibilities of the future plus a wide array of virtual exhibits filled with corporate and community professionals who look forward to engaging with each one of them. Students will also discover an all-new virtual "Hall C" this year that features information on college and certificate programs!
Students will then attend any one of 6 lively panel sessions to further explore an array of high-growth, high-skill career paths, each of them featuring industry professionals who are at the top of their game.
Who can attend? The free educational event experience is open by invitation to local high schools as well as volunteers from a variety of local high-growth businesses, community and educational organizations.
EXP gives a special thank you to the more than 30 industry volunteers for donating their time and talent to make this virtual experience an exciting learning experience for more than 300 students from 10 EXP-supported high schools and our guest schools!
