Carson High School Kicked Off a New Robotics Program
On January, 27, EXP, in partnership with Phillips 66, introduced a Robotics Program for ESET Academy at Carson High School. More than 30 students in the EXP-supported ESET Academy (Environmental Science Engineering and Technology) will participate in hands-on exploration of robotics concepts and careers by designing, building, and piloting robot projects. The program will culminate at the end of April when students will demonstrate their newly acquired robotics knowledge with a showcase.
“The partnership with Carson High School shows our support for our community and helps our industry by inspiring a new generation of engineers,” said Juliana Moreno, public affairs and communications specialist, Phillips 66. “I’m very excited to watch the students grow, develop their interests in engineering, and really hone in on their passion over the course of the program.”
