Social Entrepreneur Nicole Tinson Announced as GPS Your Future® Keynote Speaker
We are proud to announce that Nicole Tinson, founder and CEO of HBCU 20x20 and one of 2020 Forbes 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurs, will address more than 800 underserved Southern California students at EXP's GPS Your Future® Virtual Career Discovery Event on Tuesday, October 27.
A native of South Central Los Angeles, Nicole Tinson is an HBCU, Diversity and Inclusion, and Civil Rights advocate. She has learned to transform her pain into power and has made it her life’s work to empower others along the way.
Nicole is the Founder + CEO of HBCU 20x20, a national diversity and inclusion company that connects HBCU students and alumni to jobs and internships. Since September 2017, HBCU 20x20 has placed 1,000+ people into job and internship opportunities, while partnering with companies including AT&T, Intel, Accenture, Electronic Arts, PwC, SpaceX, and more.
She is an alumna of Dillard University and Yale University, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and was recently named on the 2020 Forbes 30 Under 30, Social Entrepreneurs List, in addition to making HBCU Buzz’s Top 30 Under 30 List, and Dillard University’s 40 Under 40 list.
Our first-ever virtual event promises to be an action-packed, interactive digital experience for the students. It will feature dynamic speakers, a career discovery expo with nearly 30 exhibitors, and an online gamification contest to encourage students to fully immerse themselves in the career exploration opportunities the event has to offer.
